"My 2 year old was given his kit after he had hand surgery. He loved the book, crayons, stickets, pillow plush, ball, and stars to share. I think it’s great that you do this. Thank you!!!”

"My daughter loved the stickers! She would hand them out to staff who came into her room. The stickers were a positive way for her to build trust with the staff and contributed to her positive surgery experience. Thank you for making these available to patients."

"My son received this kit after he visited the ER for a high fever. He has enjoyed the star pillow the most and I used the bracelet for him during another visit to the ER. I used to work in the ER and we never had anything like this for the kiddos – this kit is great!"

"My daughter is 9, so the little booklet allowing her to write down her feelings was very helpful. Also she loved the box as she had plans to take it home and fill it with other treasures. Thank you!"

"On behalf of the families that we serve, thank you for supporting the Ronald McDonald House of Houston with your generous donation of 192 Comfort Kits. Your thoughtfulness and generosity are always appreciated."

I liked the star pillow. It helped me after surgery because I could hold it on my belly. Our daughter received this kit for her hernia surgery today. The stuffed star was very comforting and gave her something familiar to wake up to in the recovery room. Thank you and God bless. - Ana and Jason

The items in the Guideposts Comfort Kit that helped my child the most were the Sparkle Star, the prayer and places for visitors to sign. She also enjoyed giving stickers to a few of her favorite nurses. God bless you! – Sharon
